& Dance Adopt a Fire Hydrant Program
In the event of a fire emergency during the winter, could firefighters find the hydrant near your home? Or does it get buried under a snow pile? The Bruin Volunteer Fire Department encourages residents to "adopt a fire hydrant' near their home and keep snow shoveled away from it during the winter season. This will ensure hydrants are visible and will greatly speed the response time in case of an emergency. Please don't let your neighborhood hydrant remain "under cover".
We are currently in need of volunteers and have openings in all areas including FireFighters, 1st Responders & EMTs, Rescue Technicians and Fire Police. There is also a need for Social Members to assist with our many fundraising activities. W.S. Darley & Co. contracted to build our new CAFS Engine In the News Tanker 29 is currently FOR SALE and is available immediately Apparatus
